Why is it that i found a topic on ferral cats and how many the Army had disposed of in QLD yet when i tried to add to it the topic was locked and now seems to have dissappeard can any body tell me 1.Why the topic became locked, 2.Where did it go, and finally isnt this a slap in the face to freedom of speech is some unethical person responsible for eco terrorism because they are wiping an important topic of the table. I smell somthing and its either a cat lover, or the influence of some political swine trying to hide the truth.

Why you can't find it I have no idea.

It is locked just like all the threads that are over 2 years old. If you want to discuss the topic you can start your own thread.

I have no idea what you smell or why, but the simple fact is that you are over-reacting to something that is utterly benign.
To accuse the boards moderators of "eco-terrorism" and the stiffling of free speach simply because you lost where a thread is or because a thread is locked is ridiculous.

Yeah well thanks for the reply and explanation much appreciated, as for ridduculous and over board we can never under estimate the low triple faced tactics of our pollies, but yes i made an innocent missunderstanding, and i am sure that you will excuse me but especially since enviromental issuse are one topic i will and we should all over react about as much as possible to try to make up the short fall of those who care.
You know before i leave this thread may i just ad that it is really good that we can all get on this site and share views with people of likminded interests, but how active are we outside of the wrold of the web when it comes to enviromentalism. Any way have a nice day and thanks for the reply it was very helpfull.

Mind you neither the National Socialist system you are bragging about nor the Real Existing Socialist system that followed the NS system had freedom of speech. If lucky you only had to work without payment, but they had worse things in their sleeves.
So I'd rather stick to the so called Democrazy, they decide with the wallet rather with (political) opinion. Most of the time.

In their prime years you may be supprised to know but the actual citizens seen better times than any Nation has ever expeienced in modern history, and as for the terrible after you should be fammilliar with the soviet Gulags this is where the storys of mass human execution and production like remains disposal was most commonly and systematicaly occuring yet you dont hear a great deal about them victims. Perhaps because they were mostly the Germans and Poles who remained after the war was lost. I must admit it is good to have the freedom to voice my opinion and i am glad that you are rational about it.

totalsolution,

I'd just like to make it known that while I agree with you that there is a feral cat problem, I totally disagree with your proposed solution of handing guns to the community and allowing them to shoot cats.

Mike.

Well as I said Mike shooting is only part of the solution and perhaps there is no need for a fire arm in thick residential communities, but there is in rural ones. I have children and snakes and foxes, as well as thousands of frogs living in my back yard and they are likely to attract snakes, don’t I have the right to own a fire arm well legally I do but the trouble that you must go to in order to be licensed has made me refrain from ever purchasing a fire arm, but due to the amount of pests it makes the whole idea very tempting, I remember when I was young Kmart sold fire arms in the sport department, oh well better days are gone and worse are sure to come. And like I said guns are only part of the solution we need every property owner to shoot every evasive creature they can and we need other measures like poisons and other methods of collection, even children can participate as the CSIRO has programs for people to mail in various nasties that have been captured. I am not greatly familiar with the program but I do know that they are collecting African millipedes from any body that can catch them and send them in. Any way every body has to play a part and it is not only hunting that is needed; we have to stop buying imported produce, plants, and various other goods including timber.
